Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under licensed physical therapist supervision, utilizing modalities, manual techniques, and exercise regimens. Document patient and outpatient treatments while educating patients and caregivers on their care plans, incorporating individual learning preferences. Assess patient responses to training and maintain accurate records of all interventions. Requires acute care or outpatient therapy experience, state licensure, and current CPR or BLS certification. Full-time position with required vaccinations and adherence to Adventist Health safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
