Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments to patients under licensed physical therapist supervision, utilizing modalities, manual techniques, and exercise regimens. Educate patients and caregivers on their care plans while assessing their learning responses. Document all in-home and outpatient treatments accurately. Maintain current Physical Therapy Assistant licensure and CPR or BLS certification in compliance with AH policy. Receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
