Job Summary
Coordinate daily scheduling activities for staff and monitor assigned personnel performance. Act as a professional resource and liaison for staff, other hospitals, personnel, and physician offices. Requires two years of clerical experience with six months of supervisory experience, or three years of clinical clerical experience. Must demonstrate organizational skills, medical terminology knowledge, and computer application proficiency. Works 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years clerical experience, with 6 month of supervisory experience, or 3 years of clerical clinical experience.
- Ability to type forty (40) words per minute.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the utilization of computer applications.
- Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in admission or scheduling environment in a hospital/medical office environment.
- Previous supervisory experience.
