Job Summary
Assist in rehabilitation service delivery by transporting residents to and from therapy departments, escorting ambulatory patients, and providing physical help for transfers under therapist supervision. Manage clerical duties including data entry, filing, and inventory tracking while maintaining cleanliness and safety of the rehabilitation environment. Ensure equipment maintenance and infection control protocols are followed, replenish supplies, and complete assigned quality improvement activities. Adhere to confidentiality standards and exhibit courtesy to patients and staff. Requires current CNA certification, one year healthcare experience preferred, and basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Writes and understands English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
