Rehab Aide

Under the direct supervision of licensed clinical staff, Rehab Aide assists the therapists in routine tasks for therapeutic treatment of patients and supports the department in coordinating overall function. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care activities (setting up treatment areas, equipment, and patient positioning), maintaining department environment and infection control, performing clerical duties (scheduling, filing, data collection), communication with staff and families, mentorship of new rehabilitation aide staff, actively promotes rehabilitation services, and continuous quality improvement activities. The role requires willingness to learn new technology and software applications, and to demonstrate professional behavior, dependability, and flexibility to meet department needs. Education and licenses include a High School diploma/GED and Basic Life Support certification.
