Job Summary
A rehab aide assists patients with exercises and physical therapy sessions, helps with mobility and transfer activities, and monitors patient condition, reporting changes to the licensed physical therapist. Responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans, maintaining a safe and organized clinic environment, and supporting therapists in delivering rehabilitation services. Requires physical fitness, effective communication, attention to detail, safety awareness, and empathetic, patient-centered interactions. Most work is performed indoors in a therapy setting, with occasional outdoor activities; role involves standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50lbs. High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
