Job Summary
PTA provides direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a post-acute care facility. Responsibilities include following established treatment plans, implementing department policies, and supporting patient progress toward functional goals. Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT) with new grads welcome. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email, plus knowledge of applicable laws and Life Care standards. Strong patient-centered care, confidentiality, and compliance with codes of conduct are essential. Collaborative care occurs within an interdisciplinary team of nursing, therapy, and medical staff. Location is Washington, DC (in-person).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)

- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must adhere to Life Care standards and compliance training
