Regulatory Treasury Manager

Job Summary
Maintain the global client money safeguarding framework by establishing consistent standards, ensuring ongoing compliance with local regulations, and implementing best-in-class controls. Support the development of the quality assurance and controls framework for treasury regulatory reporting, including CRR, MiFID, and EMIR requirements. Conduct horizon scanning, gap mapping for regulatory treasury subject matters, and map treasury risks across operations. Design and review policies and procedures to meet treasury regulatory and safeguarding needs, while assisting with annual internal or external audit delivery and remediation. Review existing processes, enhance client regulatory treasury incident controls, and conduct risk assessments to establish appropriate risk-based controls and management metrics. Train stakeholders on regulatory treasury subject matters and work with cross-functional teams to effect change.
Required Qualifications
- over 5 years working in a legal or regulatory background
- business or legal degree
- Control background and experience establishing and maintaining global policy frameworks and writing policy documents
- A good understanding of the three lines of defence model in risk management, the roles and responsibilities of each line and risk and controls assessment process
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting regulations and translating the requirements into actionable items for stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships
- ability to work within strict time frames and under pressure
- Diligent, with good attention to detail and an analytic mind
- Able to work independently, taking the lead where necessary and delivering on tasks or project with minimal supervision
