Job Summary
Regulatory Technician on a Carbon Sequestration Team focusing on regulatory compliance for EPA, CARB, and state agencies. Responsibilities include crafting and editing technical documents, formatting reports, organizing and transposing data into report formats, managing regulatory document databases, submitting large permit applications (Class VI) to the GSDT site, and tracking deadlines for compliance reporting. Collaborates with engineers, geologists, and project staff; maintains high levels of accuracy and professionalism, and may work non-traditional hours to meet deadlines. Requires experience with regulatory workflows, strong writing/editing abilities, and a Bachelor’s degree; advanced MS Office and AdobePro skills are expected; knowledge of EPA, DOE, and state oil and gas regulatory divisions is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 5+ years experience with regulatory workflows
- Advanced skill set in Microsoft Office and AdobePro
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with EPA, DOE, and state oil and gas regulatory divisions is a plus, but not required
- Experience working with UICs and state regulatory agencies is a plus
