Job Summary
Regulatory supervision leadership role based in Brazil, focused on supervisory and regulatory risk management for Visa’s Latin America & Caribbean region. Develop and expand the Supervisory Engagement Model, coordinate regulatory reporting and inquiries, manage in-market risk programs, and support license applications and regulatory audits. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Government Affairs, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Controls to ensure compliance with local regulations, and drive analytics, metrics, and reporting for senior management. Hybrid work arrangement in Brazil (São Paulo). Strong knowledge of payment systems, risk governance, and experience engaging with the Central Bank of Brazil are essential; English and Portuguese fluency required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
- 10+ years of work experience or 8+ years with Advanced Degree or 3+ years with PhD
- Strong knowledge of payment system risks
- Experience coordinating multi-functional teams for risk functions
- Experience with regulatory relationships, especially with the Central Bank of Brazil
- Fluency in English and Portuguese; Spanish a plus
