Job Summary
Regulatory Strategy - Executive Director leads a team to manage credit risk-related engagements with regulators, overseeing exams lifecycle, coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries, and shaping the firm’s regulatory engagement strategy. The role involves working with senior leaders globally, managing a team of exam managers, driving consistent messaging across lines of business, maintaining regulator relationships, and producing reporting and presentation materials for regulatory engagements. Requires 10+ years of credit risk experience with 5+ years in a management role, experience in Risk Management and Compliance at a large banking organization, deep knowledge of regulator processes, and strong relationship-management and communication skills. Location: New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of credit risk experience
- 5 years of management-level experience
- Experience in Risk Management and Compliance at a large financial institution
- Deep knowledge of regulators' exam processes and regulatory matters
- A strong track record of managing relationships at a senior level
- Superior management skills and strategic thinking
