Job Summary
The Regulatory Specialist I will support the Legal Department with licensure applications and renewals, regulatory reporting for the company and SPEs, and responses to regulatory examinations. Responsibilities include tracking licensing requirements, advising on filings timelines, developing and maintaining reporting dashboards, monitoring regulatory changes, maintaining a response library for routine compliance requests, coordinating with state regulators and third parties, ensuring remediation steps are documented, and collaborating with internal stakeholders on compliance-related activities. Requires a bachelor’s degree and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with proficiency in common business software and the ability to handle confidential information. The role involves ongoing collaboration, documentation, and occasional special projects to support GLS’s regulatory and compliance objectives.
