Responsibilities include handling internal/external inquiries about Japan/global chemical regulations, due diligence for compliance on imports/exports, preparing submissions for new chemical registrations, ensuring Japan-specific GHS-compliant SDSs, coordinating SDS updates with the authoring team, tracking regulatory changes, and collaborating with regional/global regulatory colleagues and product/commercial teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline (e.g., Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering)
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar regulatory role
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in both Japanese and English
