Regulatory Specialist (CASS)

Job Summary
Review and assess CASS controls to ensure full compliance with CASS 15 rules, while supporting daily reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. Maintain CASS documentation and Resolution Pack records, preparing internal management information and external regulatory reports. Act as the CASS SME for new products, liaise with external auditors during the annual audit, and perform root cause analysis for breaches. Assist in developing the operational risk framework and tracking remediation actions for control failures. Report to the Head of Operations with flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours minimum 30 per week spread over 5 days and hybrid patterns.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years proven experience in a Regulatory Compliance, Risk, or Operational Oversight role within a UK CASS regulated financial services firm
- Solid working knowledge and practical application experience of the FCA CASS rulebook
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple regulatory deadlines and priorities effectively
