Job Summary
Join CloudWalk as a Regulatory Reporting Specialist acting as the technical reference for regulatory reporting to the Brazilian Central Bank. Responsibilities include leading the regulatory accounting close process, preparing financial statements, managing the regulatory reporting calendar, designing internal controls, serving as the main contact for external auditors, collaborating with data teams, and monitoring regulatory changes. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, relevant accounting experience, strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL, and proficiency in Portuguese.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
- Active CRC registration is a strong plus
- Experience in accounting or regulatory roles within financial or payment institutions
- Solid experience with external audits (Big 4 or similar)
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and basic to intermediate SQL for reconciliation and data testing
- Working knowledge of BCB/CMN regulations applicable to Segment S3 Payment Institutions
- Excellent command of Portuguese; English for reading/writing regulations and auditor communications is desirable
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of IFRS 9 (credit risk classification and expected loss modeling)
- Familiarity with Python (pandas) for automation of checks and reporting packages
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Data Studio, Power BI) and cloud databases (BigQuery, Snowflake, Postgres)
