Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Job Summary
Analyst will support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports across regimes (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II, UK EMIR or similar), ensure transaction data is complete and aligned with regulatory requirements, and maintain timeliness and internal controls. Responsibilities include data quality and reconciliations between internal trading systems and regulatory submissions, investigating and resolving breaks, and supporting remediation to improve data accuracy. You will develop an understanding of the trade lifecycle across FX and derivatives, review trade attributes and reference data for regulatory completeness, and collaborate with trading, operations and onboarding teams to address upstream data gaps. Additional duties include supporting regulatory reporting controls, audits, process documentation, and contributing to automation and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen reporting accuracy and control robustness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Up to 3 years of experience in financial services (regulatory reporting experience is advantageous but not required)
- Exposure to financial instruments such as FX, derivatives, fixed income or commodities is advantageous but not essential
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- High attention to detail and control awareness
- Proficiency in Excel (including data manipulation and basic formulas)
- Ability to analyse datasets and identify discrepancies
- Clear communicator with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
- Positive, proactive attitude with strong ownership mindset
