Job Summary
As Regulatory Excellence Officer, report to the Director of Strategic Policy and contribute to reducing regulatory burden through policy research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities include drafting briefing notes and communications, tracking RTR initiatives, developing tools to estimate and reduce regulatory costs, supporting RTR legislation planning, analyzing stakeholder submissions, applying cross-jurisdictional best practices, supporting projects and programming related to RTR, reviewing documents with an engagement lens, and promoting a culture of regulatory excellence with internal and external partners. Strong emphasis on policy, research methodologies, data management, project management, Excel proficiency, written and oral communication, attention to detail, multitasking, and the ability to work independently within a team. Competencies include systems thinking, agility, drive for results, creative problem solving, and public-service collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or Economics. Equivalencies considered on the basis of one year of related experience for one year of education.
