Job Summary
Coordinate with external suppliers and co-manufacturers to collect and maintain required regulatory documentation, including allergen statements, nutritional data, and gluten-free certifications. Review documents for completeness and accuracy, communicate discrepancies to suppliers, and escalate issues as appropriate. Administer the kosher certification program by coordinating approvals with certifying agencies and assist with compiling documentation for retailer compliance portals. Assess the regulatory impact of new suppliers on existing finished goods while supporting cross-functional approval processes under tight timelines. This full-time, in-office role in New York City offers a salary of $75,000-$85,000, plus equity and comprehensive health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, or a related field
- Prior experience in food, beverage, or CPG quality, regulatory, supplier quality, or food safety functions
- Working knowledge of food safety and regulatory frameworks, including FDA regulations and Proposition 65
- This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City
- We work onsite five days a week
