Job Summary
Support the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing maturity of Regulatory Compliance programs and processes across the organization. Maintain awareness of the regulatory landscape, translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical business requirements, and update the Regulations Register. Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, forms, and guidelines; promote training resources; provide operational support to Privacy and Access, including PIAs and FOI intake/processing. Review and test the effectiveness of compliance controls, develop risk-based review plans, identify gaps, and escalate unresolved risks to senior leadership. Build relationships with internal stakeholders, support fit-gap and risk assessments, and assist in preparing reports and recommendations to reduce regulatory non-compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration/Policy, Law, Compliance, Privacy, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a regulatory compliance role; 5+ years within the Ontario Public Sector in compliance and privacy is preferred.
