Job Summary

Conduct routine and complex audits investigating internal controls, casino procedures, and Tribal Ordinance violations. Inspect assigned gaming areas, table games, player services, and slot operations to ensure compliance with the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act and Tribal regulations. Collect evidence of illegal activity, issue barring notices, and resolve patron gaming disputes. Monitor gaming equipment integrity and manage sensitive keys while escorting employees and vendors. Maintain control of assets and report deficiencies to gaming and public safety departments. Accept non-standard shiftwork including graveyard, swing, and weekend assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have or be able to obtain and a CTGC Gaming License as a condition of job offer
  • Must be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications within three months of hire
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation according to the established requirements below
  • Must be able to accept non-standard shiftwork, to include graveyard, swing, weekend, and holiday assignments; days off may vary from week-to-week
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry objects up to 20 pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • One year of professional experience in at least one of the following areas preferred: Work in the gambling industry
  • One year of professional experience in at least one of the following areas preferred: Conducting complex investigations
  • One year of professional experience in at least one of the following areas preferred: Information technology experience working on or with computerized network systems
  • One year of professional experience in at least one of the following areas preferred: Interpreting and applying complex rules, laws, and policies
  • One year of professional experience in at least one of the following areas preferred: Financial auditing, record inspections, or record investigations
  • One year of demonstrated experience in building positive professional and / or public relationships preferred
