Job Summary
Analyze import transactions to identify post-entry correction opportunities and compliance risks. Review customs entries for accuracy of HTS classification, country of origin, valuation, and trade program eligibility. Prepare and coordinate Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), protests, reconciliation adjustments, and other post-entry filings. Validate supporting documentation related to USMCA, Chapter 99, Section 232, and Section 301. Partner with customs brokers and internal stakeholders to resolve entry discrepancies. Monitor submission status and assist with resolving ACE filing errors, CBP rejects, and broker inquiries. Maintain audit-ready records and research CBP regulations impacting import compliance. Develop reports and metrics to support duty recovery initiatives. Identify recurring issues to support continuous improvement projects. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience. Starting salary $78,000-$100,000 USD. Hybrid schedule in Portland, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Finance, Logistics, or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Experience analyzing data and identifying issues, trends, or opportunities for corrective action
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and other business applications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with customs compliance
- Experience with customs brokerage
- Experience with import/export operations
- Experience with global trade compliance
- Knowledge of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations
