Regulatory Affairs Coordinator (RN) WMCG Augusta Georgia

Regulatory Affairs Program Coordinator (RN) at Wellstar supports the Manager of Regulatory Affairs in readiness activities, accreditation and regulatory compliance, including mock surveys. Responsibilities include coordinating self-tracers, conducting process tracers, developing tracers, collecting, analyzing, and reporting tracer findings, and using clinical expertise to advise and collaborate with leaders, physicians, and staff. Must maintain knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation, The Joint Commission, Georgia Department of Public Health, and other governing bodies; develop and deliver education on licensure, accreditation, and regulatory trends; assist with workflow development, policy/revision, mock survey assessments, and continuing education; partner with operational leaders to develop corrective action plans and track their effectiveness; perform tracers and audits of documentation and processes; support pre-survey preparation, on-site survey, and post-survey follow-up; ensure compliance with Wellstar policies and standards. Requires RN licensure, with RN-Compact or RN-Reg Nurse (Single State); CPHQ preferred. Educational background (Associates or Bachelors Nursing preferred); minimum 2 years (or 5 years preferred) acute care nursing experience. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data abstraction capabilities.
