Job Summary
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and conducting engineering assignments while ensuring compliance with licensing criteria and standards. The role involves leading teams, preparing complex engineering assignments, and developing License Amendment Requests. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and relevant experience based on the role level. Interaction with NRC personnel, providing regulatory advice, and participating in various engineering and compliance activities is critical.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, engineering technology, or other related science discipline from a college or university accredited by ABET
- Minimum 2 years related engineering experience for Support Engineer
- Minimum 5 years related engineering experience for Senior Engineer
Desired Qualifications
- Engineer in Training Certificate
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for the specific position
- Professional Engineering registration in Pennsylvania
- Knowledge of emerging AI technologies and experience to assist in validation, verification, and testing of potential applications in the nuclear field
