Job Summary
Conduct safe student transportation on established AM/PM routes, performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintaining an orderly environment. Follow all traffic laws and district policies while communicating effectively with students, parents, and supervisors. Prioritize student safety by reporting accidents, mechanical issues, or disciplinary concerns immediately. This role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and background check clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to safely transport students to and from school according to established routes and schedules
- Ability to conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ability to maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus
- Knowledge of traffic laws
- Knowledge of district transportation policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and transportation supervisors
