Job Summary
Per Diem Registered Nurse – Med/Surg. Evening shift. Independently provide safe, effective nursing care for patients on med/surg units; utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care; guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel; communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team; contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
- Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing
- BSN strongly preferred
- BLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider
- NIHSS certification active
- Minimum two years of recent acute care clinical experience in med/surg
- Telemetry competence and demonstrated within 14 days of hire
