Job Summary
Greet patients and visitors in person or via phone/video while entering and updating demographic, insurance, and financial data into the hospital system. Obtain and verify applications, photocopy documents, and collect patient liabilities while balancing the cash box daily. Coordinate admissions, bed assignments, and tracking boards, then meet audit accuracy standards by resolving error reports promptly. Provide wayfinding assistance and ensure compliance with safety policies by addressing environmental hazards. Work any variable full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and rotating holidays to support 24/7 operations, with occasional overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 6+ months of experience in an office setting, customer service setting (over the phone OR face to face), phone support role or call center environment
- Beginner level of proficiency with Windows applications
- Full Flu vaccination
- Ability to work any variable full-time schedule including the flexibility to work a mixture of days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and rotating holidays supporting our 24/7 operations based on business need
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- Candidates located in states that mandate Flu booster doses must also comply with those state requirements
- UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of registration experience in a hospital OR medical setting
- Previous experience working for Northern Light Health
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Working knowledge of insurance policies and procedures and patient care settings
