Check-in, admit, and register incoming patients in the hospital or ED setting via in-person, phone, or virtual channels. Verify demographic information, collect insurance data, create accounts, obtain signatures, and process co-payments while ensuring patient safety through positive identification protocols. Act as an ambassador by assisting with self-registration and Medicaid applications. In-person duties require physically walking to patients throughout the emergency department. Adhere to quality assurance guidelines and productivity standards to support work unit performance.
