Job Summary
Assist patients through the registration process while introducing them to the facility to reduce anxiety. Serve as a liaison for patients, families, hospital management, and staff to ensure satisfaction and quality service. Maintain flexibility for weekend, holiday, and other shift work as scheduled, including nights from 7p to 7:30a as needed. Complete mandatory background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a health care and/or customer service related industry
- Flexibility for weekend, holiday, and other shift work as scheduled
- High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in patient interviewing
- Ability to collect post and balance cash
- Strong typing and clerical skills to include speed and accuracy
- General knowledge of medical insurance and terminology
