Job Summary
Walk to patients throughout the Emergency Department to verify demographics, insurance details, emergency contacts, and primary care physician information. Collect ED copays and gather pertinent data while welcoming patients arriving by ambulance or helicopter. Ensure patient safety using positive identification protocols and obtain required consents. Adhere to quality assurance guidelines and established productivity standards. This role requires mobility to enter patient rooms and navigate the fast-paced, demanding environment of Rochester, MN.
