Job Summary
Registration Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handles administrative duties, verifies insurance coverage and authorizations, schedules appointments, and supports providers and billing staff. The role involves maintaining the registration desk, updating patient information, collecting co-pays, coordinating with the billing office on collections, and ensuring efficient, high-quality customer service. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and knowledge of insurance processes are required to support the clinic’s operations and patient care. The position is part of OrthoVirginia’s Interventional Pain Management team, supporting a network of locations and providing exemplary administrative support to clinicians and patients.
