Job Summary
Registration Coordinator for Conferences and Events focused on supporting the Foundation for California Community Colleges’ Conferences & Events. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire registration process, creating and maintaining calendars and documentation, managing inventory of event supplies, collecting data for dashboards and Year-End Reports, handling on-site registration and payments, coordinating with volunteers, and ensuring a seamless experience for speakers, attendees, and staff. Requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, experience with registration management (virtual and in-person), familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce and/or Cvent a plus), and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Asana. Remote-first role within California with some travel for in-person event support; collaboration across a cross-functional team and with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of related client-side experience focused on registration management, attendee services, conference logistics, and event support from planning through execution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a team
- Event Registration Experience (virtual and in-person)
- Experience using CRM to track stakeholder lists; direct experience with Salesforce and/or Cvent is a plus
- Any experience in an education or non-profit environment is preferred
- Exemplary interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization with professionalism and integrity
- Ability to organize event details such as catering, location, invite lists, special guests, technology set-up, and promotional materials
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), Google Suite, and Asana
