Registration Associate – Samaritan Hospital - Per DIem

Registration Associate – Samaritan Hospital (Part-time, Per Diem) provides patient-focused registration and insurance verification for outpatient and/or inpatient services. Responsibilities include performing patient access registration, collecting patient financial liability payments, ensuring eligibility and Medicare requirements, and providing general information to patients and physicians. Requires minimum one year of customer service experience; HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within one year of hire; medical terminology knowledge and insurance verification skills; two-week training period; shifts are M-F 8a-430p with rotating schedule. Familiarity with coding knowledge and adherence to Trinity Health policies, confidentiality, and safety is expected.
