Direct student registration activities, coordinate class schedules with room assignments, and maintain comprehensive record systems for enrollment and transcripts. Initiate work connected to student registration, correspond with officials regarding scholastic standings, and prepare periodic reports based on registration data. Schedule classrooms according to courses of study, maintain master listings of available space, and verify enrollment for Social welfare, Food Stamps, Armed Forces, and Social Security. Review forms and transcripts for placement, direct students to counselors, and issue transcripts as requested. Prepare examination schedules, determine scholastic rankings for graduating students, and identify gifted children for accelerated programs. Maintain cumulative records and case histories in accordance with local and federal standards, while participating in case conferences and in-service training programs for teachers.
