Job Summary
Registrar responsible for maintaining all students’ permanent records, including upgrading, correction, and deletions, and for recording, posting, and dissemination of grades. Also certifies degree and certificate requirements for graduation, coordinates official registration each semester under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, and serves as the primary FERPA contact ensuring regulatory and policy compliance. Responsibilities include training faculty and staff in FERPA, reviewing graduation applications, handling transcripts and transfer-credit requests with other post-secondary institutions, participating in the College Graduation Committee, maintaining program materials with department stakeholders, managing probation lists and enrollment prerequisites, and providing leadership in using Banner, DARS, and related software. Requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) with five years of experience in registrations/records and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Banner; background checks will be conducted. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, public administration, or data management information systems)
- Five years of relevant experience in registrations and/or records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with automated student record-keeping systems such as Banner
- Master’s degree preferred
