Job Summary
Registrar Degree Audit Specialist mines for credentials, identifies students eligible for graduation, maintains student records, and assists with Registrar and Records Office operations. Supports institutional completion initiatives while ensuring compliance with academic policies and FERPA regulations. Responsible for mining credentials and posting awards, running degree audits for certificates, technical certificates, and degrees, and coordinating with advising, K-14, apprenticeship, and student success teams to identify near-completers and oversee credential processing and related reporting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and similar application programs
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and ever-changing environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to exercise judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA regulations
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functional areas (advising, academic affairs, K-14 programs, apprenticeship teams, student success) to support degree completion and student outcomes
