Job Summary
Registrar-Assistant at UW Seattle leads the Credentials Team responsible for auditing and conferring degrees, maintaining accurate academic records, producing diplomas, and ensuring grading integrity and GPA-related lists. The role supervises staff, manages workload, improves processes, and serves tri-campus students and alumni. Key duties include advising on graduation requirements, coordinating degree-related policies, ensuring timely and accurate credential production, managing dean’s lists and honors data, and coordinating diploma orders and commencement materials. The position requires strong leadership, project management, policy interpretation, and collaboration with academic departments, advisers, and university offices. The role operates in a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days onsite and 2 days remote) in Schmitz Hall, UW Seattle, Monday–Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least four years of supervisory experience.
- Experience as a lead team member and/or supervising temporary, and/or student staff will be considered.
- Knowledge of FERPA laws, regulations, and guidance.
