Job Summary
Prepare patients for anesthesia with IV catheter placement and pre-anesthetic assessments, then induce, monitor, and recover patients under general anesthesia while tracking vital parameters like ECG, blood pressure, and EtCO2. Administer anesthetic and analgesic medications under supervision, respond to complications, and assist with advanced dental and oral surgery procedures. Perform dental radiographs and prophylaxis, maintain accurate medical records, and support inventory management. Work Tuesday through Friday in four 10-hour shifts with no weekends, earning a competitive salary. Join a specialty referral practice dedicated to veterinary dentistry and oral surgery, collaborating with board-certified specialists to provide exceptional patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Minimum of 3 years+ of veterinary technician experience
- Strong anesthesia and patient monitoring skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- High school diploma or equivalent
