Job Summary
Lead dental procedures by performing comprehensive anesthetized dental prophylaxis, taking and interpreting full-mouth radiographs, and monitoring anesthesia while charting. Assist veterinarians with extractions and advanced oral surgery, including nerve blocks and gingival flaps, while developing treatment plans alongside the team. Maintain dental equipment and protocols, mentor team members, and provide compassionate patient care including venipuncture, catheter placement, and emergency response. Maintain thorough medical records and collaborate with specialists during complex cases. Join a collaborative team of five DVMs and experienced RVTs in a modern facility featuring digital radiography and Fear Free–inspired care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Experienced and confident in veterinary dentistry and anesthesia
- Comfortable leading dental procedures from patient preparation through recovery
- Skilled in dental radiography and assisting with extractions
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Passionate about patient care and client education
- Positive team player with strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of veterinary dentistry experience
