Job Summary
Overnight ER/ICU Veterinary Technician in Boulder, CO is responsible for triage and nursing care of emergency and critically ill patients under supervision of board-certified specialists and ER/ICU doctors. Performs venipuncture, catheter placement, airway management, and emergency procedures with oxygen administration; processes labs (CBCs, coagulation tests, urinalysis); communicates with clients regarding discharge instructions; maintains ICU/Isolation supplies and supports reception tasks as needed. Requires CVT/LVT/RVT/PVT certification in Colorado with at least two years of emergency/critical care experience preferred; on-call one shift every 4 weeks after training; English fluency required (bilingual a plus). Required Qualifications
- Must be CVT, LVT, RVT, or PVT certified in Colorado
- Experience: Two years in emergency/critical care preferred
- Skills: Excellent communication, ability to work independently, strong technical skills in veterinary procedures, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- On-Call Requirement: One shift every 4 weeks after training completion
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) required; multilingual a plus
