Job Summary
Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery while safely handling and restraining animals with compassion. Perform technical duties including lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement, and maintain accurate medical records for medication dispensing. Communicate clearly with clients regarding care instructions and status updates. Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready, adhering to hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines. This Registered Veterinary Technician role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with a 4-day workweek and a $500 sign-on bonus. Required Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification required
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
- Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions
- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines
