Job Summary
Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs. Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication; review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy. Collaborate with the team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care. This is a part-time position with rotating weekend shifts; the hospital offers a full benefits package and additional incentives.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Ohio
- Proficiency in surgery setup and assisting
- Phlebotomy
- Sample collection
- Inpatient care
