Job Summary
Conduct daily diagnostic imaging coverage including blood draws, IV catheter placement, anesthesia assistance, surgery support, dental procedures, radiology, lab work, and microchipping. Prepare medications and explain their use to clients while demonstrating strong communication skills for patient education. Assist with rotating Saturday schedules during hospital hours Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.e. Join a three-doctor general practice in Grove City, OH, committed to work/life balance, professional mentorship, and community involvement with local rescues.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a valid Veterinary Technician license in Ohio, or the ability to obtain one immediately after hire
- Proficient in blood draws
- Proficient in IV catheter placement
- Proficient in anesthesia assistance
- Proficient in surgery support
- Proficient in dental procedures
- Proficient in radiology
- Proficient in lab work
