Job Summary
Experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a strong background in emergency/critical care to monitor patient vitals, manage analgesia, administer IV fluids and medications, place and maintain IV/catheters (including central lines) and urinary catheters, perform blood draws and point-of-care diagnostics, assist with emergency procedures and anesthesia monitoring, triage emergency patients, maintain medical records, and support CCU operations and patient comfort in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active California RVT license required
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience preferred, ideally in ER or CCU
- Strong venipuncture, patient handling, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to calculate drug dosages, CRIs, estimates, and invoices accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be available for the posted Wednesday–Saturday schedule
