Job Summary
Join Clinton Animal Care Center as a Registered Veterinary Technician, where you will provide compassionate care to pets and perform nursing care in a hospital setting. Required qualifications include a state license as a Registered Veterinary Technician in Ohio (or eligibility to acquire one), at least 2 years of veterinary clinical experience, and the ability to adapt in a collaborative team environment. This role demands strong skills in animal handling, communication, and organizational tasks. Rotating Saturday work is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Ohio, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire
- 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary technician
- Ability to work rotating Saturdays
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
