Job Summary
Conduct routine physical exams, assist veterinarians during C-sections and CCL surgeries, and prepare patients for radiographs. Perform blood smears, run in-house blood work, place IV catheters, and start fluids. Educate clients on annual exams, heartworm prevention, and vaccinations while communicating blood work results and performing follow-ups. Maintain a positive culture by communicating happily with clients and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Registered as a veterinary technician
- You must truly love animals
- A willingness to start and end every day knowing you gave your all
- This position requires teamwork
- Be able to demonstrate and educate clients on simple procedures
