Job Summary
Conduct first-opinion nursing duties including anaesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, nurse consultations, radiography, ultrasonography, and assisting with procedures. Manage ordering and stock levels while supporting the team with administration tasks. Gain opportunities to participate in Schedule 3 procedures to develop clinical skills. Work a full-time 40-hour rota with shifts ranging from 8:30am to 8:30pm, including Saturdays and Sundays, within a small animal practice that also treats exotic species. Join a collaborative environment of six vets and dedicated staff focused on high standards of patient and client care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Rota basis with a mix of shifts consisting of early and lates between 8:30am-8:30pm
- Saturdays are 8:30am-6:30pm
- Sundays are 10:30am 4:30pm
- First-opinion nursing duties
