Job Summary
Provide outstanding patient and client care in a first-opinion practice, managing a varied caseload across consultations, theatre, and inpatient settings. Work alongside experienced veterinary team members to maintain high clinical standards while developing skills through funded CPD and certificate support. This 30-hour-per-week role offers flexibility in shift patterns to accommodate childcare or other commitments. Located in Ely, the position provides access to advanced facilities including digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy, and rhinoscopes, with occasional exotic species patients.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
- Confident working in a first-opinion practice
- Experience in a varied nursing role across consultations, theatre and inpatient care
- Passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
- Ability to work well as part of a close-knit and supportive team
- Keen to develop skills and continue learning
- Pride in maintaining high clinical standards
- 30 hours per week availability
- Flexibility around shift patterns
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with exotic patients, including species such as lizards and rats
