Job Summary
Admit patients, monitor anaesthetics, recover, and discharge patients while assisting with theatre turning, patient prep, and VCA support. Work varied hours between 8:30am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday morning shifts from 1:30pm to 1:30pm. No overnight or out-of-hours patient checks required. Join a locally owned, first-opinion small animal practice on the Wirral since 2014, featuring digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory, and dedicated operating theatre facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
- Good general nursing experience
- Great customer service skills
- Cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Admitting patients
- Monitoring anaesthetics
- Recovering patients
- Discharging patients
- Assistance from VCAs and an SVN with turning around theatre, patient prep
- Working varied hours between 8:30am - 7:30pm Monday to Friday and 1:3 Saturday mornings 9am - 1:30pm
