Job Summary
Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload, including running busy nurse consultations for second vaccinations, health checks, and wellness screenings. Support post-operative checks, weight clinics, and preventative healthcare while assisting surgical procedures, anaesthesia monitoring, and theatre nursing. Collaborate with veterinary surgeons to manage a range of first opinion cases and contribute to clinical standards. Work a 39-hour, four-day week with shifts from 8:15am to 6:15pm, covering Cedarwood, Haughley, and Thurston branches on a rota basis with one Saturday morning per month. Join a dedicated Nurse Graduate Programme with clear progression into senior nursing, referral, and leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice
- growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills
