Job Summary
Conduct post-operative and day hospital patient care, manage general anaesthetic and sedation preparation, and perform surgical prep for operation rooms. Execute laboratory duties, maintain infection control protocols, and oversee care and maintenance of clinical equipment. Provide nurse consultations and collaborate with veterinary surgeons to deliver high-quality nursing care for first opinion cases. Work 40 hours per week across four days with a 1 in 5 weekend rota, with no out-of-hours coverage. Join a 3-branch small animal clinic in Edinburgh offering digital x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab services.
Required Qualifications
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice
